Why Pyunpye? Here is the story in a nutshell ... friends of mine started a project to build a schoolhouse there and the project was finished in 2011 ...
... so they asked me to come along to see the result ... and here it is with the overwhelming welcoming committee below ...
... Elke is taking a bath in the crowd (below) ...
... it was the time of school vacations but every student was present ...
... there are 2 class rooms (above), a meeting room, toilets and a kitchen ...
... and students have a place to meet and play together ...
... you are always welcome to take photos but when they loose initial shyness ...
... all hell breaks loose ... and you get a lot pictures with raised hands and fingers only ...
... once you got your 'ducks in a row' it is easy to get nice pictures ...
... I always feel uneasy when I see children playing with toys like fake submachine guns ...
... here my pals and I are at the gambling table ...
... we got fresh drinks from the 'coconut bar' ...
... and these guys are relaxed as could be ...
... the young ladies are a bit difficult when it comes to taking pictures (below) ... I guess I am too old to make them smile
... finally a group photo before we left ... but first of all the arrangement must fit ...
... everyone is lined-up properly ... shoot!
I realised it was a great and memorable event for everyone including me!
